4th "Renewal of the Spirit" Meditation In the Great Learning, one of the Four Classics of the Confucian tradition, there is a passage that aptly reflects the new era that is upon us now. The following inscription is found on the bathing tub of Emperor Tang (one of the founders of the Shang Dynasty, 1800-1400 B.C., a priest-king):“If you can renew yourself for one day, then do so from day to day. Yea, let there be daily renewal!” In the Announcement to Kang (an ancient text from the Zhou Dynasty) it is said, “Stir up a new people.” In the Book of Odes it is said, “Although Zhou (1122-249 B.C.) was an ancient kingdom, its decrees are continually renewed.” These words
were recorded almost 3,000 years ago, but don’t they sound contemporary? “Behold, I make all things new.”—Revelations, 21:5 We have just embarked upon the Chinese New Year. Feb 4 (Tuesday) is the official “onset of spring” according to the lunar calendar. And so it is extremely apropos that we celebrate the arrival of the new energy. Different traditions call it different names. Nowadays it is often referred to as the Aquarian Paradigm, the Crystal Grid, and the Christ Energy. It suffices that there are enough people on the planet who are truly bent on releasing the old and welcoming in the new. This evening we will do a powerful meditation. Again we will enter our Pyramid of Crystal Light and the Violet Singing Flame. We will invoke the Diamond Heart Ray of our Holy Christ Self, Master El Morya (Chohan of the First Ray of God Will/Power), and Archangel Michael. For those of you who receive this newsletter but reside overseas or are out of town, please join us in this meditation. Many groups around the world are anchoring the new energy. Many people of different races and creeds are together ushering in a vision built on peace and harmony. These are electrically charged times. We are creating our next reality with every passing thought. It is important that we join forces to bring in the kind of world we want our children and grandchildren to live in. Wishing
all of you a most prosperous and blissful Year of the Ram! |
