III. The Violet Flame

According to the Mahayana Buddhist custom, religious objects such as statues, rings, and talismans inscribed with Sanskrit or Tibetan mantras should be “blessed” before use. During the Opening of the Light Ceremony, sacred Sanskrit “bijas” (seed syllables and symbols) are superimposed upon the artifacts, along with prayers and intonation of the names of various Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Divine Beings who will confer their special blessings and patronage upon these artifacts. Often I also invoke the Violet Flame for such a dedication ceremony.

The Violet Flame is the common thread running through many mystery schools and wisdom teachings. A non-partisan, eclectic and universal force directly derived from Source, it is a mighty manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The science of decreeing and healing with the Violet Flame has been practiced throughout ancient cultures, including Lemuria and Atlantis. It exemplifies the essence of forgiveness, compassion and alchemical transformation of karma-- a mainstay of Buddhist, Egyptian and Hindu teachings, among others. In my opinion it is one of the most effective tools for transmuting of personal and global karma. In a swift but lasting way, the Violet Flame clears the Etheric Body of karmic records and restores the blueprint of our authentic self, what is variously called the Buddha-nature, or Holy Christ Self.

Why is it that we need to invoke the Violet Flame? In our etheric body, as well as in the physical, mental and emotional energy sheaths, we still carry scar tissue from experiences of great sorrow and loss. Records of death and emotional trauma, compounded from experiences of many lifetimes, are trapped here, and that tissue needs healing. If invoked regularly with intense love and devotion, the Violet Flame can continually melt and dissolve calcified energy patterns trapped in our cellular memory. Acting as a powerful solvent, it transmutes the tar like substance between and around the atoms and electrons that compose our four lower bodies.

A simple way to invoke the Violet Flame:

Visualize a dazzling white Light projected directly from your God Presence above your crown. Within this tube of Light, envision a flame of pulsating purple fire. See the tongues of the flame, as if borne along by the mighty wind of the Holy Sprit, surge in and out of the cells, atoms, ligaments, joints, bones, and neural pathways inside your body, clearing up the karmic dross within the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes. Command the flame to consume the core and cause, seeds and conditions, record and memory of all past karmic obstacles. Visualize yourself standing in the midst of the white crystal tube of Light, as you give the following decree:

I AM THE VIOLET FLAME

I AM the Violet Flame in action in me now.

I AM the Violet Flame to Light alone I bow.

I AM the Violet Flame in mighty Cosmic Power.

I AM the Light of God shining every hour.

I AM the Violet Flame blazing like a sun.
